Magnificent Motors Offers Alternative to E-Bay

Magnificent Motors launches an alternative to online motoring auctions this year with the introduction of new Auto-jumble pitches at the show.

Bringing together a wide range of spare parts and accessories for classic vehicles, enthusiasts will be able to buy and sell at the South Coast’s biggest FREE motoring show from 5 – 6 May, without the hassle of trawling online auctions and paying expensive postage.

Eastbourne Borough Council Director of Economy, Tourism & Environment, Norman Kinnish said “Restoring classic cars is a popular pastime and as a keen motoring enthusiast myself, I often travel further afield to pick up spares, which can be really hard to come by locally.”

“The added attraction of Auto-jumble this year adds to the continued growth of the event, appealing to classic car owners across the UK, who can not only enjoy the amazing array of cars on display, but also pick up spare parts and a few maintenance tips too.”

Running over the May Bank Holiday weekend, 500 vintage vehicles from classic cars and motorbikes to vintage buses and traction engines are expected to line the seafront. Visitors can look forward to an array ranging back from turn of the century motoring to ‘Life on Mars’ style 1970’s Ford Cortina’s.

Family attractions also include children’s rides, seafront cavalcades, historic bus trips, live music and a French Market. On Saturday a special Bandstand concert also takes place with the Tony Strudwick Orchestra playing both matinee and evening performances.
